Creative folk with an interest in social issues:
Red Reel has launched – a Canada-wide call to anyone who may be interested in producing a short-short (up to two minute) video, film or animation about HIV-AIDS.
A selection of the best films will be used by the Canadian Red Cross to educate Canadians about HIV-AIDS. Prizes will be awarded, and the selection of the best productions will be shown at public screenings at the end of May.
Here’s what the Red Reel team says about the jury:
The panel of judges will include locally and internationally acclaimed filmmakers and creative artists, film industry professionals and experts from the Canadian Red Cross.
The submission deadline is March 26th.
