Online video discussions stressing the importance of community-produced media

From the New Routes Email Digest (‘New Routes to Community Health: Improving the Health of New Immigrants through Media’, I learned of an online four-part video clip series about the importance of community-produced media… and of an online video channel new to me, DoGooderTV.

The series was produced by See3 for the first Community Media Summit with support from the Benton Foundation and Community Media Workshop.

  1. Thanks for the mention. DoGooderTV is a web video site for nonprofits and issues. It is not meant to replace other sites, but it is a place where people who care about issues can go and not have to watch stupid pet tricks. See3 is a Chicago-based consultant to nonprofits, helping them create a strategy to use video online.
